Deen kept her secret for three years, and she is being criticized for coming forward only after getting money as a paid spokesman for a diabetic medication. Deen had to protect her brand. She is known for the butter and fatty foods that she loves to cook. Deen says she tells people to eat in moderation as she does. She has already started an exercise program and is losing weight.

Season 2 of Welcome To Sweetie Pie’s kicks off in March on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN cable channel. I love this show! Will Heather Locklear listen to her parents and enter rehab? Locklear, 50, is best known for her roles in the prime time soaps Melrose Place and Dynasty. She had to be hospitalized last week after mixing alcohol and prescription drugs. Locklear is no stranger to alcohol abuse. In 2009, she was arrested for reckless driving. Locklear’s parents and siblings are trying to reason with her to get Heather into rehab so she can deal with her issues.

Funk and Pop Saxophonist Jimmy Castor of The Jimmy Castor Bunch died earlier this week from heart failure. Castor was 71. Last November, he underwent quadruple bypass surgery. The singer/songwriter was best known for the hits The Bertha Butt Boogie, E-Man Boogie, King Kong and the crossover smash Troglodyte (Cave Man).
