PATTY JACKSON'S 4-1-1
WEEK ENDING: September 2nd, 2011

A big congrats to Beyonce and Jay-Z. The first time parents are overjoyed about the new bundle of joy due next March. Everyone wondered when Beyonce would put her career on hold for motherhood. This pregnancy was not planned, and no fertility treatments were used. Beyonce was scheduled to start work on the Clint Eastwood movie A Star Is Born, but those plans have been put on hold. The Carters are on top of the world about becoming parents.

Actress Stacey Dash has confirmed she’ll no longer be on the hit VH1 drama Single Ladies. I told you a while ago she wouldn’t be returning, and that her exit was surrounded by controversy and backstage problems. Talk on the set was Dash was feuding with Co-star LisaRaye, (LisaRaye denied that) and that Dash shows up late for shooting and wouldn’t know her lines. The Queen Latifah produced show has been a surprise hit for the cable network. So why leave? Dash issued a statement that while she enjoyed her role, shooting in Atlanta makes it impossible to be with her children in Los Angeles. She wishes the show well. Hmmmmmmmmmmm!

Bishop Eddie Long’s accusers are writing a book about their experiences with him. Spencer LeGrande, 23, and Jamal Parris, 24, are going to write a tell-all about their relationship with Long, and how their lives will never be the same after their abuse. Long’s accusers, five in total, all received a settlement for a $25 million payout. A new tell-all is coming out about Comedian Katt Williams. He was once one of the top name comedians, and now he is known for making headlines for foolishness. In the book Pimp Down: The Rise And Fall Of Katt Williams, the author, a former employee of Williams, details the drama, the personal business, mental breakdowns, tantrums, drugs, groupies, lavish hotels, multiple suicide attempts, jail time, gang hits, booze and expensive cars.

He is still married to Ginny, the woman he left while she was pregnant with his twins. Barber has been trying to make a comeback in the NFL after ruining his TV career with the scandal. He dumped his pregnant wife for the young intern at NBC while he was on The Today Show. It’s been five years since his football heyday with the New York Giants.

In Boyz II Men news, they celebrate 20 years with a new album this fall. Twenty is a double CD with 10 new songs and updated versions of their classics including End Of The Road and I’ll Make Love To You.
