The Knowles family is growing. Yes! Beyonce is getting a lil’ brother or sister. Beyonce’s dad, Matthew Knowles, has been hit with a paternity suit. Knowles’ girlfriend is six months pregnant. The woman, who is in her late 30’s, says she has been Knowles’ side chick, and now she is having his baby. Next week, Beyonce will be on Oprah, and she is expected talk about her parents their marriage- - -and his other women.

Usher is lashing out at his soon to be ex-wife Tameka Foster. He is about to release his new album (Monster). He is also expected to sign his divorce papers on that day. In his new song, Usher talks about the rift that he had with his mom, and that is was Tameka’s fault. Usher please! You were warned not to marry this woman, but you went ahead anyway and had two babies with her. Why are you dissing her now? Lashing out at her is childish. You’re a grown man! Now grow up! Pay your child support and move on.

How is Kandi holding up? Kandi Burruss from Xscape was on top of the world when she signed on for the reality show The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Who would have thought her world would come crashing down once she joined the show? One of the main plotlines of this season was Kandi’s relationship with her fiancée, Ashley “A.J.” Jewel. Her mom couldn’t stand him, and it’s long been rumored what he did for a living. He had six kids, four baby mommas and a mysterious past, and now he’s dead. A.J. was beaten to death last week. What happened? Was it a business deal gone wrong? Was he fighting with another man over an exotic dancer? Did he pull a gun on his attacker? How will this situation fit into the show? Will Kandi stay with the show? She had broken off her engagement to A.J. last summer, and she had taken in two of his kids. A club employee has been charged with voluntary manslaughter in A.J.’s death.

He wants to make sure she doesn’t get half in case they break up. Word has it Odom was desperate to get married before he hooked up Khloe Kardashian. He was dating actress Taraji P. Henson.

So what do you think of The Mo’Nique Show. I love Mo’, but I can’t take the screaming. Maybe it’s first week jitters? The show is taped in Atlanta, and she looks good. Mo’Nique has been taking a lot of heat lately. She is one of the stars of the Lee Daniels’ movie Precious. Reports are coming out that is she is refusing to do press events for the movie unless there is money involved. Spokespeople for Mo’Nique says this is not true and that she’s just busy with her new talk show and her family. Sources fear her attitude may cost her a chance at getting an Oscar. She gives an amazing performance in Precious. This movie showcases a Mo’Nique we have never seen. Mo says it’s the genius of Director Lee Daniels who brought out the best in her.

Jermaine Jackson is firing back at his critics. Jermaine says he is not cashing in on his brother’s death. Jermaine says it’s the Jackson family’s responsibility to keep the Michael Jackson legacy alive. Jermaine recently signed on for the London based reality show Move Like Michael Jackson, and word has it he could be eyeing a spot for next year’s edition of Dancing With The Stars.

Tyler Perry is opening up about his past. Perry sent out a special message to his fans revealing the sexual and physical abuse that he suffered growing up. Perry is an amazing man, and he has dedicated his life and career to helping and uplifting others. We may laugh at “Madea” and the movies, but there is always a message and something to learn. Perry has joined forces with Oprah Winfrey for the new movie Precious, which opens in theatres November 6th.  Precious is based on the novel Push by Sapphire. The movie is about a young girl, played by Gabourey “Gabby” Sidibe, who is pregnant for a second time by her father. “Precious” can’t read or write. She feels unattractive and hates her life. Despite her hardships and abuse, she meets some amazing people who help her find her way. The movie is powerful and thought provoking. Perry has opened up about his life so that others can see you can overcome abuse.

Oprah Winfrey will next be teaming up with Chris Rock by producing his next film, Will You Be My Black Friend, based on a 2008 article in GQ magazine. The article was written by a white writer who realized he had no black friends, so he went on a mission to make friends. The moral of the story, the older you get, the harder it is to make friends. In other Chris Rock news, he is being sued by a woman who claims he stole her idea for his new movie Good Hair. The woman claims she met Rock on the set of Everybody Hates Chris, where she presented him with her documentary My Nappy Roots. Rock’s Good Hair opens in theatres this week and in wider release October 23rd.

Mariah Carey’s new album, Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, is not doing well on the charts. Look for the album to be re-released with all new mixes. Carey is currently working on a new holiday project, and she is planning to do a duet with her mother. Carey’s mom is a trained opera singer. In a recent interview, Carey wouldn’t comment on a possible tour. She and hubby Nick Cannon are trying to have a baby, and she is already gaining weight to get healthy. Carey has been dealing with a lot lately. There are the press junctions for her new movie Precious (wait until you see her in this movie), and she’s also fending off reports that her diva behavior and huge entourage are turning people off. She is considered very high maintenance, and apparently she doesn’t come cheap she charges thousands of dollars to have her hair and makeup done.
