Doctor Murray, what took you so long? Authorities and investigators want to
know why Dr. Conrad Murray took so long to call police after Michael Jackson
stopped breathing. Dr. Murray was the personal physician of Jackson when he
died. Authorities have ruled Jackson’s death a homicide. They are citing a
lethal dose of an anesthesia as the cause of death. When Jackson stopped
breathing, where was Dr. Murray? Why did he leave Jackson’s side?
Authorities say Jackson was left alone after he stopped breathing for over
an hour before police were notified. Criminal charges will be filed, and Dr.
Murray, who says he did nothing wrong, has very good reason to be worried.
Dr. Murray says he doesn’t want to be the fall guy, but all fingers are
pointing to him.
In other Jackson news, the nanny, Grace Rwarmba, has been fired by the
family. Rwarmba was the African nanny who served as Jackson confidante for
many years, but she was fired by Jackson last year then brought back to care
for the kids when The King Of Pop died. Rwarmba helped raise Michael’s kids.
The family thought she could be a big help, but then she clashed with mom
Katherine and sister Rebbie. A fist fight broke out with Rebbie, and the
nanny was sent packing. Rwarmba recently married a Ugandan oil businessman,
and she is now dedicating her life to him.
Tito Jackson is about to hit the road with Gladys Knight overseas. It’s a
reunion. Gladys Knight is actually the performer who discovered The Jackson
5. Tito will be doing a tribute to his brother. Meanwhile the rest of the
Jackson brothers, including Tito, have been given the greenlight by the A&E
network for their reality show.
Michael’s movie, This Is It, opens in theatres on the 28th. The movie
features footage from his rehearsals for the London concert shows. The King
Of Pop would have been 51-years old had he lived and the Apollo Theatre is
inducting him into their Legends Hall Of Fame.
LaToya Jackson is coming to The View. Sept 16th and 18th. LaToya will be
filling in for Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who’s on maternity leave. She will also
be joining Barbara Walters on 20/20 on September 11th.
It’s over for Usher and Tameka. His momma told him not to marry that woman,
and now after two babies, they are officially divorced. There was no big
payday for Tameka. She had to honor the prenup, which left her with no
money. She does get child support for her two young babies with Usher.
Tameka is now left with 5 kids and no husband. She already had three
children when she married Usher. Usher’s new album, Monster, comes out this
fall.
Oprah and Jay-Z --- BFF’s?!!! Yes! Jay-Z is going to be profiled in an
upcoming edition of O magazine and Oprah’s talk show. The Mighty O says she
is not a big fan of his music, but he has a charming personality and smells
good. Jay-Z will take Oprah to the Brooklyn projects he grew up in, talk
about how he made his fortune and life with wife Beyonce. Now speaking of O
magazine, next year she will mark its 10th anniversary with a star-studded
music revue at Radio City Music Hall.
Speaking of Oprah, Whitney Houston will kick off the 24th season of The
Oprah Winfrey Show. It’s been almost seven years since The Princess Of Pop
sat down with The Mighty O. Whitney’s new album, I Look To You, comes out

Friends of Jennifer Hudson say the Oscar winner is settling into motherhood
with the help of her fiancé and family, but she really misses her mom. Next
month marks the one year anniversary of the death of Jennifer’s mom, brother

Can Chris Brown stay away from Rihanna? A judge has ordered the 20-year old
Brown to stay away from Rihanna. The judge got wind of their secret
meetings, and she scolded him in court. He must stay away from Rihanna for
the next 5 years. Brown was sentenced in the assault of Rihanna. The 180
hours of Brown’s community service includes removing graffiti, cleaning and
maintaining grounds, washing cars and pulling weeds. He will also have to
attend a year of domestic violence classes and pay fines.
Tyrese is finally a free man. He is officially divorced from his wife, Norma
Gibson. He will share custody of his young daughter, and he will have to
give his ex-wife a lump sun of $43,000. Plus, she gets to keep all jewelry
and gifts she acquired during the marriage.
Bill Cosby is getting honored in October. The 72-year old comic legend is
getting the nation’s top humor prize, The Mark Twain Award, during
ceremonies in Washington, D.C. Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, and Cosby Show
Co-stars Phylicia Rashad and Malcolm-Jamal Warner will take part in the
ceremony airing November 4th on PBS. Speaking of Rashad, the woman known to
millions as “Claire Huxtable” is showing off her new look. Over the past 8
months, the 61-year old actress has lost 35 pounds via Jenny Craig.

Anthony Beverly, the son of music legend Frankie Beverly, has produced a
tribute CD for his dad. Silky Soul Music: An All-Star Tribute To Maze
Featuring Frankie Beverly features performances Mary J. Blige, Musiq
Soulchild, The Clark Sisters, Joe, Avant, Ledisi, Mint Condition and Kevon.
The CD comes out September 29th.
Mo’Nique’s new BET talk show debuts on October 2nd. Her new Lee Daniels’

Paula Abdul has got a job. Abdul is proving there is life after American
Idol. She will be hosting the VH1 Divas Live special on September 17th.
Honorees include Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis and Kelly Clarkson.
The Lebron James documentary movie, More Than A Game, opens in theatres
October 2nd. The movie shows James’ life before he entered the NBA,
including his high school coach and his teammates. It’s a seven year journey
of the life of James and his teammates.
It’s a wrap for Singer Ashanti and Rapper Nelly. He didn’t want to get
married, so she broke it off.
David Alan Grier has had it with his soon to be ex-wife. Grier is going
through a nasty divorce with his wife of less than two years. They have a
young daughter. He is seeking joint custody, and he doesn’t want to pay
spousal support. Grier is citing irreconcilable differences in his divorce.
He is best known for his recent stint on Dancing With The Stars and the hit
90’s show In Living Color.
Is the TV show The Game coming back? The BET network is in talks to bring

For the first time in seven years, get ready for the reunion of TLC. The
surviving two members of the group, T-Boz and Chilli, are doing benefit in
Las Vegas this fall. Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes of TLC died in 2002.
Tennis Sensations Venus and Serena Williams have made NFL history. The
Williams sisters are the first black women to co-own a football franchise
the Miami Dolphins. They are investors in the team with Marc Anthony,
Jennifer Lopez and Gloria Estefan.
Will Actress Victoria Rowell ever return to the soap opera The Young And The
Restless? For years, she played the popular character “Drucilla Winters.”
She left the show a few years, but she says she is willing to return to the
show. She has cited fans disappointment with recent storylines regarding her

Beyonce is leading the pack for The MTV Video Music Awards. The awards show
airs September 13th. This week, Beyonce was named Woman Of The Year by
Billboard Magazine. Beyonce has had an incredible year with her movie,
Obsessed, her hit single, Single Ladies, and singing at President Obama’s
Inauguration.
BeBe and CeCe Winans are back together. Their new single is called Close To
You. The new album comes out in October.
Actress Kim Coles is coming back to TV. Coles is best known for her role as
“Sinclair” on the TV show Living Single. Coles will be starring on the new
BET game show Pay It Off. She’ll be helping people get out of debt. Now
speaking of game shows, Wayne Brady will be the host of the new version of
Let’s Make A Deal. The show debuts in October on CBS.
Tyler Perry is gearing up a busy fall. The promos have already started for
his new Madea movie, I Can Do Bad All By Myself. The movie hits theaters on
