PATTY JACKSON'S 4-1-1
WEEK: July 6th, 2009

Where does the Jackson family go from here? After sending Michael off in a loving tribute, it’s time now to get down to business and take care of Michael’s affairs. The results of the toxicology reports are weeks away. Katherine Jackson is headed to court on August 3rd to seek control of the Michael Jackson estate. In the will, Katherine was left in charge of his kids, but his estate and business dealing were left to Entertainment Attorney John Branca and Music Executive John McClain. Katherine wants the two removed as heads of the estate, but this may be a tough battle for her because it was stated in Michael’s will that Branca and McClain remain in charge. Katherine will probably have her hands full fighting off Debbie Rowe, Michael’s ex-wife and the mother of his two oldest kids, Paris and Prince. Rowe has stated she wants her kids back, and she will even raise the youngest, Prince Michael II, known as “Blanket.” Does Rowe stand a chance? She signed away her rights for money, and it appears it’s money and not a mother’s love that's bringing her back. Expect a lot of doctors to be questioned, including Michael’s dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein. Klein is rumored to be the biological father of Paris and Prince. He says this is not true, and he says he did not prescribed unauthorized medicine for Michael.

The Jackson siblings are gathered around their mother and are prepared to help her. They are standing strong as a family, and they want the world to know they are united. What about Papa Joe? He has another daughter, 36-year old Joh’Vonne. She basically looks after him, but she has been told to stay in Las Vegas. Right now Papa Joe wants to stay by Katherine’s side.

Ebony magazine is celebrating the life of Michael Jackson with an exclusive commemorative book. 100 pages of never before seen photos, celebrity tributes and Michael Jackson in his own words from an interview he did with the magazine last year. I can’t wait to see this book, which comes out on the 13th, because Ebony magazine has been documenting The King Of Pop’s life since the beginning.

Did the jump off kill him? Former Football Star Steve McNair was gunned down over the Fourth of July holiday. His body was riddled with bullets and his 20-year mistress was by his side, also dead with a gun shot wound. Investigators wouldn’t call it a murder-suicide right away, but all evidence pointed that way. McNair, 36, was a star quarterback in 2000. He led the Tennessee Titans to the Superbowl, and in 2003, he shared MVP duties with Peyton Manning. McNair retired from the NFL with the Ravens last year. McNair was married with four sons. So where did the girlfriend come from?

She was a 20-year old Shaleh Kazemi, a native of Iran. McNair met her five months ago. In that time, he brought her a brand new Cadillac Escalade and a condo. Sources say two days before their deaths, McNair and Kazemi were stopped by police. She was charged with driving under the influence: CHECK OUT THE VIDEO HERE! It has also been reported that the young girl purchased the gun that was found at the scene of the crime two days before. Was she mad because McNair had no intention of leaving his wife? Family members of the girl claim McNair was going to marry her. Well, this was news to McNair’s wife, who had no idea her husband had a mistress. Some insiders claim McNair was trying to pull away from Kazemi, standing her up in Las Vegas a few weeks ago. Did this set her off? Though Kazemi’s old boyfriend did get questioned, Police have now completed more investigative work and have officially ruled it murder-suicide.

Is Marion Barry in trouble again? The former mayor of Washington, D.C. now sits on the city council, and he was arrested over the holiday weekend for allegedly stalking an old girlfriend. The old girlfriend is a political consultant. Friends of Berry say the woman is crazy and is making unwarranted charges against Berry. Berry has a knack for staying in trouble. Back in 1990, he was videotaped smoking crack. Over the years he has been in trouble for taxes and traffic violations. Back in 2003, he divorced his latest wife, Cora.

Paula Abdul is currently filming her new TV show Drop Dead Gorgeous. The show will air on the Lifetime network.

Whitney Houston returns in September with her new CD, I Look To You. She is also scheduled to do a morning concert with Good Morning America.

Former Child Star Gary Coleman is having problems with his wife. Shannon Price was arrested and charged with domestic violence and disorderly conduct after she attacked Coleman and tore up their Utah house.

The TV show The Game may live on. The Bet network is trying to acquire rights for the show. If it happens, the show could see a fourth season. So far, the cast is ready for another go round. The show was cancelled a few weeks ago by the CW network, and the show was never given a proper sendoff.

Singer Stevie Wonder has been dealing with a lot of family issues this year. Close friends are worried about the stress he is dealing with. Earlier this year, there was an incident with a family member at his California home, and now, Wonder is dealing with his troubled daughter. Wonder’s 27-year old daughter Takiyah reportedly tried to hurt herself last weekend. Sources say Takiyah was troubled about a failed relationship, and she is still dealing with the death of her mother, Singer Syreeta Wright. Wright died five years ago. Takiyah left a number of weird messages for family members and friends where she shared her pain about her life. Wonder has a lot of projects in the works, but right now he realizes he has to get his daughter help and be there for her.
