Will we ever see a Jackson reunion? The famous brothers are not doing well. Once part of a musical dynasty, many of the Jackson Brothers are struggling to get by. Marlon Jackson recently lost his home to foreclosure, and he is now stocking shelves at a supermarket. Randy does odds jobs including changing tires and working on cars. Tito is touring in a blues band, but he’s not making much money. Jermaine splits his time between his parents’ home and his girlfriend’s. Jackie is trying to start up an internet clothing company. There is a lot of resentment towards Michael. The brothers feel Michael has turned his back on them by only caring about his legacy. How much more can their parents, Joe and Katherine, take? They are close to 80-years old. The sisters, Janet, LaToya and Rebbie, are doing well with their mates, but they can’t afford to take on their brothers’ burdens. The Jackson Brothers have been through hell and back with bad investments, bankruptcies, divorces, I.R.S. debt, child support and numerous baby mamas. If the brothers reunited for a tour with Michael, could it help them get their lives back together?

Actor James Gandolfini, better known as “Tony Soprano” from the hit HBO series The Sopranos, has been added to the cast of the movie The Taking Of Pelham One, Two, Three. The movie is a remake of the 1970’s classic that starred Walter Matthau. Denzel Washington and John Travolta are also starring in the thriller about a group of bad guys, led by Travolta, who take a subway car full of passengers hostage for money. Gandolfini will play the Mayor and Washington will play the detective going after the bad guys.

The Rita Marley proposed movie about her late husband Bob Marley has hit a snag. Even though Rita Marley, his widow, is the executive producer of the project, the family is refusing to license the music from the library. How can you do a movie about Bob Marley and not have his music? The family feud is on sources say Marley’s son Ziggy is heading up his own project with famed Director Martin Scorsese.

Hot on the heels of his upcoming album, Usher’s wife is causing him heartache. At a recent video shoot for his latest single, Love In
Da Club, Usher’s wife Tameka showed up cranky and annoyed. She was not pleased with the choreographer. And, when she saw the gorgeous girl that Usher selected as his video leading lady, she went berserk. Friends of Usher warned him about marrying an older woman who was insecure. Tameka doesn’t want pretty girls around her husband. As the video shoot progressed, Tameka’s attitude got worse, and she was asked to leave the set. How will Usher’s wife act when he goes on tour to promote the album? Will she cling to him when he hits the road to tour? Will she allow him to have female dancers? Tameka should be taking care of their son and not following her husband around at work.

Angela Bassett is on a roll. She recently got a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Bassett was recognized for her work in such movies as Waiting To Exhale, How Stella Got Her Groove Back and her Oscar nominated role as Tina Turner in What’s Love Got To Do With It. Bassett is currently starring in Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns, and her next project is the life story of Rap Icon Biggie Smalls. Bassett is playing Biggie’s mom Voletta Wallace.

Mariah Carey is starring in a new series of commercials for Macy’s. Carey stars along with Carlos Santana, Usher, Kimora Lee Simmons and Model Gabriel Aubry.

Tyra Banks is having a problem with a stalker. The man, who is being described as a 6’2 drifter, has been following Banks coast to coast. He often shows up at the tapings of her talk show with flowers in hand. He was recently arrested, but a judge set him free. Now staffers for Banks are worried about her safety, and they have added extra security to guard her. Banks is also being tight lipped about her future with her show, America’s Next Top Model. Is Banks trying to ditch the show so she can concentrate of on her talk show? Sources say she only shows up on judging day, and she rarely interacts with the contestants. There has also been a lot of tension between Banks and her former close bud Jay Manuel. He is the show’s photo shoot creative director. They haven’t spoken in months. If Tyra leaves the show, will she get another Supermodel to replace her?

Singer Corrine Bailey Rae is mourning the loss of her husband. Rae’s husband, Jason Rae, was found dead earlier this week in his London apartment. Authorities believe it was a drug overdose. A man who was seen leaving the apartment was arrested for supplying him with drugs.

Comedian/Actor Mike Epps isn’t laughing about his private life right now. Epps, whose best known for his work in the movies Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins and Next Friday, is being accused of fathering a baby with a Georgia woman. Epps is married, and he won’t take a paternity test to clear matter ups. The baby was born last December, and the woman says Epps is the father.

At the movies, it’s Superhero Movie starring Tracey Morgan, Regina Hall, Pamela Anderson and Leslie Nielson. The movie is from the creators of Naked Gun and the Scary Movie sequels.

Director John Singleton is moving ahead with plans to bring the 80’s TV show The A-Team to the big screen. The movie is expected in theatres June 2009. The movie will follow the adventures of “Hannibal Smith’s” Special Forces Soldiers. Word has it Rapper/Actor Ice Cube will star as “B.A. Baracus,” the role made famous by Mr. T.

If Halle Berry decides to sell baby pictures of her daughter, sources say she could get over $2 million. So far, Halle has been quiet on whether or not she will be the next celebrity to cash in on her child.

Will New York Knicks Head Coach Isaiah Thomas be coaching the team next year? I hear he’s going to be replaced by Donnie Walsh who is stepping down from his position as a chief executive with The Indiana Pacers. Thomas’s reign as head coach has been disastrous, including a sexual harassment suit that cost the team millions of dollars.

Alicia Keys is starring in a micro series for Dove Soap. Keys is helping Dove with their new Dove Go Fresh campaign. In the micro series, Keys plays a public relations exec with her 20 something friends.

Singer Fantasia is resting comfortably after getting polyps removed from her vocal chords.

If you’re a fan of Dancing With The Stars, you may have found yourself staring at Priscilla Presley’s face saying, why does she look like that? When Priscilla married Elvis Presley years ago, she was gorgeous, but the later years have not been kind. Presley has had bad cosmetic procedures, and she is finally talking about it. Presley was one of the many victims of Dr. Daniel Serrano, a.k.a. “Dr. Jiffy Lube.” Serrano is not a licensed doctor in the U.S. He hails from Argentina, and he was once close friends with Lionel Richie. That is until Lionel caught him with his wife Diane. Serrano would do private parties with people promising them he had a product better than botox to keep away wrinkles and keep them looking young. Serrano was injecting a low grade silicone into their faces. The silicone was actually a lubricant that is used in auto parts around the world. The injections causes lumps and holes in the face. Presley was one of his victims, and now she is getting corrective work.

Singer India.Arie is headed to Broadway. Arie will be starring in the Ntozake Shange classic For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enough. The production originally debuted in 1977. Previews start in July, and it officially opens on Broadway August 2nd. The stage play looks at the experience of being a black woman in America through the eyes of seven characters.

Regina Belle will be releasing her first gospel album this spring. The album, Love Forever Shines, features the lead single God Is Good. Belle is due in Philadelphia on May 13th. She’s doing two appearances, one at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church and the other at Sharon Baptist Church.

Look for a new album from Singer John Legend this summer.

Mariah Carey’s new album, E=MC2, arrives in stores April 15th. The lead single is a song called Touch My Body.

The TV version of A Raisin In The Sun with Sean “P Diddy” Combs, Phylicia Rashad, Sanaa Lathan and Audra McDonald is coming out on DVD May 6th.

Harrison Ford returns as “Indiana Jones” in the new movie, Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull. Despite being in his 60’s, Ford can still do the wild stunts. The movie opens in theatres May 22nd.

MTV is gearing up for a new reality show featuring the kids of celebrities. Some of the offspring include Al B. Sure, Jr., Bobby Brown’s oldest son and MC Hammer’s daughter. The show, Rock The Cradle, debuts April 3rd.

This aging Basketball Star has been hanging out with groupies who are young enough to be his daughter. The former Hoopster looks like a fool as he shows them off while they are spending his money.

This Famous Singer has stopped eating. She is currently pushing her new album and she wants to look thin and fabulous, but her friends fear she may start looking anorexic.
